Saturday January 20th, 2018

Bon Swa!

Today and tomorrow will be used to finalize all of the plan for the offload of supplies on Monday! Starting Monday we will have a lot of work to do.

We had breakfast this morning and then met with all of the key players for the offload. We setup a simulation and had somewhat of a tabletop exercise to go over multiple different scenarios. For example we simulated what we would do if Captain Lennon was unable to help, or if Ailish wasn’t available for offload. Having these conversations help to get everyone on the same page with the plan. During this tabletop exercise, everyone was assigned their roles. It was decided who would be going aboard the ship, who would be going on one of the three boats and who would be staying back at Madame Bernard. The Mayor came to Vacation Village in the afternoon and we explained the plan to him.

After our meeting/ tabletop exercise we went swimming and played cards at Ellie’s place and ate dinner. Ellie’s place is just a short walk from Vacation Village.

Tomorrow we will have breakfast at 0730 and head to Madame Bernard by boat this time. We will spend the majority of the afternoon and morning cleaning out the depot which is where some of our supplies will be stored. We will have a final meeting sometime in the afternoon at the Port Morgan Hotel where Captain Lennon stays. After our meeting we plan on walking to the radio station to check that out, as one of our projects is to get it back up and running. From the radio station we will head over to Abaka Bay to watch the Patriots game.
