Making a difference
Massachusetts Maritime Academy began its Haiti Project in 2011. The project focuses on Ile-A-Vache, one of Haiti's satellite islands. It lies in the Baie de Cayes about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) off the coast of the country's southwest peninsula.
