"Help Me"

EDEM Foundation (Haitian Kreyol for "Help Me") and Patrick Lucien have been in contact with Laura and I regarding bicycles, EDEM supplies for the main office, and other assorted supplies. EDEM is a nonprofit that strives to "provide access to opportunities for communities in Haiti through sustainable education, agriculture, community development, an reliable partnerships." You can check out the EDEM website at www.edem2.org Patrick has been working with us to have some supplies brought down on the TS Kennedy. 10 bikes, along with helmets and spare bike parts, were purchased from Walmart. Some of the supplies for the EDEM office include a filing cabinet, lamp posts, a desk, a tv, a fooseball table, and folding tables. The assorted supplies include: books, soccer uniforms, toothbrushes, and plastic chairs. All will be put to good use through the efforts of EDEM and Patrick!
