I switched majors from Marine Transportation going into my Junior year at the Academy due to a more significant interest in the International Maritime Business major and am enjoying it. Once I graduate, I would like to go back to school to obtain my master's degree. I am not certain at this time which sector of the business world I would like to focus on but I am very interested in taking many language and culture courses so I can work effectively internationally. I am currently involved in a cooperative project through Mass Maritime for which myself and seven other cadets will be traveling to Haiti this winter. We will be coordinating projects unique to our year, as well as continuing projects from previous years. We will be working on a small island called Ile-a-Vache. I'm sure it will be a unique experience! I am looking forward to brushing up on my French and trying to get at least a fundamental proficiency in Haitian Creole
